Spring and Summer provide fantastic weather, late nights, sunshine, holidays, and of course, a great excuse to break out the swimsuits!
However, these seasons can also provide challenges for our health.
How can I safeguard my health during the warmer months?
There’s lots of ways to prevent illnesses and ailments from getting you down during these seasons:
Wear sunscreen, even on cloudy days
Drink lots of water
Have antihistamines on hand for allergies
Use Vaseline around the entrance to the nostrils to trap pollen before it can irritate the mucus membranes
Cover your skin with light, breezy clothing to protect from the sun
Make sure you’ve got antihistamine, anti-pruritic or steroid cream for itchy bites
Wear sunglasses - they don’t just protect your sight, they can stop pollen getting into your eyes
