Spring and Summer provide fantastic weather, late nights, sunshine, holidays, and of course, a great excuse to break out the swimsuits!

However, these seasons can also provide challenges for our health.

How can I safeguard my health during the warmer months?

There’s lots of ways to prevent illnesses and ailments from getting you down during these seasons:

  • Wear sunscreen, even on cloudy days

  • Drink lots of water

  • Have antihistamines on hand for allergies

  • Use Vaseline around the entrance to the nostrils to trap pollen before it can irritate the mucus membranes

  • Cover your skin with light, breezy clothing to protect from the sun

  • Make sure you’ve got antihistamine, anti-pruritic or steroid cream for itchy bites

  • Wear sunglasses - they don’t just protect your sight, they can stop pollen getting into your eyes
