Unfortunately not all problems can be solved under this service. We do not routinely perform examinations over video call, as they should ideally be performed in person.
If you need help with a prescription item or suspect you need a prescription, we may be able to help with this. This can be discussed during the consultation with a healthcare professional.
We are not able to offer advice for mental health issues - if you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health issue we recommend speaking to your GP, regular healthcare provider or charity. You can call Samaritans on 116 123.
In a health emergency, call 999.
-
You’ll be able to discuss health problems or questions freely. We won’t ask for intimate examination or images, but you may be asked to describe any issues you’re having. Our team will do their best to help you - if you need more specialist help or advice, we’ll signpost you to the most appropriate place.

This service, like all of our services, is a private one. Pharmacy Clinic Edinburgh is not an NHS pharmacy and as such are unable to perform any NHS services.

The charge for an online consultation is £35. This payment is taken in advance of the consultation.
If, during the course of the consultation, it becomes clear that you need a prescription, an additional cost of £40 will allow you to upgrade the consultation to include this. This is always a decision to be discussed and agreed during the consultation with the prescriber.
The extra fee for the prescription service includes a more thorough consultation, administrative costs and covers any other services that may be included in the consultation, such as the reading of medical records.
